Get the Perfect Angle with the Right TV Wall Mount

There are a few main types of LCD TV wall mount kits, and a variety of different mounting options available for you to hang them. The main type that you are going to see are considered the portrait type of wall mount system, and this simply means that it is mounted flat against the wall. The next type is the corner mount kit that places an arm coming out of the corner where two walls meet to give you an angle on the television. The last type is the hanging type, in where the manufacturer makes a leg that comes down from the ceiling with a plate that your TV mounts to. The decision is ultimately up to what mounting position you want, just make sure that you are purchasing a kit that works with your TV.

Hanging an LCD television flat against the wall is one of the more common practices for using wall mount kits for LCD TVs. The reason is because once the TV is turned off, or set onto a screen saver mode where you can use pictures as a screen saver, you hardly can tell that there is actually a television there. This makes for a very subtle decoration, while still allowing you to view a large clear picture.

Mounting televisions in the corners of the walls requires a bit more strength, but more and more manufacturers are doing their homework to ensure the mounts hold tight. You typically see this setup in commercial shops, like pizza shops, sports bars, etc. These places need to allow for many different viewing angles which just isn't possible when you are using a flat mount kit. You have to make sure that these types of wall mount kits are anchored firmly to ensure that the TV isn't going to land on the floor one day.

Having a hanging wall mount setup will allow you to easily move the TV around to find the perfect angle, while still freeing up your wall space. These setups hang from the ceiling by use of a leg that typically hides the wires inside of it. You often see these types of mounting setups being used in peoples bedrooms, and offices where they need to have a good view of the television, but also cannot afford the wall space, or don't have an area where the television will properly fit without requiring a large bulky entertainment center.

LCD and Flat Screen Entertainment Centers

It is easily known why the television is the staple in most households, because more and more programming is coming over the airwaves every day to help and entertain you and your family, and it leaves no question why we have gone to such larger, higher quality televisions over the years. But now that you've gotten this huge television, what are you really going to do with it? Do you have an entertainment center that you can fit it into, in the middle of the room? What not consider some of the flat screen entertainment centers that are being produced.

These types of entertainment centers are being produced more and more because of the simple fact that LCD and plasma television prices have dropped so much over the last few years, practically everyone is able to easily afford a flat screen TV now days. These TVs are awkward though, by the way they are shaped, and don't typically fit into most standard entertainment centers, which is why you are going to need a flat screen entertainment center. The types of stands are built specifically for a flat screen TV will give you the options of hiding the wires, as well as being able to position the TV in any way that you want.

You can go as elaborate as you want with an entertainment center for flat screens, because of the overall space that they take up being considerably less than an entertainment center for a large CRT or floor model television. You know what I am talking about, the corners are sticking out of every door way, causing serious injuries when you walk by without noticing, or you are one of the people who have absolutely no floor area in your living room because of the massive TV stand you purchased with your old TV.

There are designs for flat screen entertainment centers ranging from all glass models, to light wood, dark wood, even all black models that have accent lighting in them to help increase the elegance of your living room. Replacing your own entertainment center with a new entertainment stand for flat screens that has these types of features in it could easily cause you to spend more time on the couch in front of the tube. The amount of work that manufacturers are putting into their TV stands is simply amazing, and you can tell they are aiming to please the consumer; you!

Selecting the Right LCD TV Wall Mount Supplier

By Howard W. Colins

There is nowhere that you can look that you do not see one nowadays. I am of course talking about LCD wall mounted television sets. Almost every home or office that you walk by is glowing like Times Square with their bright and vividly colorful display of mega pixel glory. No longer is the size of tires attached to your automobile the status of alpha male machismo. Now it is the life size screen you watch football games through on the weekends with your impressed clique of big screen-less friends.

If you want to make sure to keep your LCD out of the reach of younger hands, safely secured from being a falling hazard, and adjusted to just the perfect angle, then you need to be introduced to the world of the LCD TV wall mount. The lowly LCD TV wall mount is humble and inconspicuous, but performs all of the heavy work of securing your LCD in its place, as well as allowing for any adjustments that can be taken advantage of with that particular model of LCD wall mount.

Lets face it, while the LCD wall mount might not be the first thing on your mind as you experience kickoff like you were "in the game", it truly would be impossible without it. How long do you think it would take for you to get frustrated with sliding past your big screen on the coffee table to get into the kitchen, or have to continually ask people to step to the side of the actors so that you can see your favorite show?

The LCD TV wall mount that comes with your television may not be the best solution to secure your LCD for best viewing and protection. While I would not dare to call the manufacturer's product as inferior, it is standard at best. There is usually very little in way of flexibility in use or viewing adjustment options available with the use of LCD TV wall mounts. If one is not provided with your television they can usually be ordered from the company. For usually less money and with a wider feature and quality selection, choosing to get your LCD TV wall mount from a third party after market on line retailer can often be the best choice for an LCD TV wall mount source.

By all means, feel free to remain loyal to your home electronics manufacturer when it comes to your home entertainment equipment selection, but when it comes to the wall mounts that make sure you enjoy it at its peak performance for many years to come, choosing an LCD TV wall mount specialty retailer is surely the wisest move.
